If you are looking for service hours for rank advancement, come to Hayden LaPonte’s Eagle Project workday on May 15th. His team will be renovating the disc golf course at Wake Forest University by placing benches, cutting trees and roots, digging holes and pouring concrete for new baskets, as well as picking up sticks and debris. Working will be 4-5 hours. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Meet at the waterfall bridge at 9am (on the path between Reynolda Gardens and Wake Forest). The easiest way to find this place is to look for the soccer field. The soccer field is located on the left side of the property.
If you have the following tools please bring them with you:

Get ready to sell because Camp Cards are here!
Parents can pick up camp cards in the Scout room on Mondays during troop meetings. Scouts then can sell to family, friends, neighbors, etc. Each card the Scout sells earns the council $5 and the Scout $5 to use for summer camp or other troop outings.
See Amanda Treadway for more information.
The troop will be meeting tonight from 7:00-8:30. We will start in the Alspaugh Worship Center (AWC) and then move to patrol rooms.

Prep for the Raven Point trip will also occur tomorrow as assigned by the SPL (or his designee). Instructions for this coming weekend’s trip will be given at the AWC part of the meeting.
Note that the meeting is scheduled to last until 8:30 – our pre-COVID time. If you need to pick up your scout, please be prepared to get him from the parking lot at 8:30.
See you tomorrow!
We are having a full troop meeting tonight at 7pm! We look forward to seeing everyone this evening.
We will be having Order of the Arrow Elections this evening so members of the OA should wear their sashes for the meeting.
Charles Galyon will be having a car wash for his eagle project fundraiser on Saturday, March 27th from 1 PM to 5 PM. The car wash will be located at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. Scouts are encouraged to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet.
There will be a full “LIVE” troop meeting tomorrow. Spring is in the “crisp” air and DST has given us more daylight to hold full meetings regularly. We will be meeting at 7 PM. We are working on getting permission to meet inside the church, but we will still be limited to the room capacities set by the church (this is most important for patrol rooms). We are not yet allowed to meet in the Youth Commons, so we will continue to gather in the parking lot for all meetings and will disperse into patrols (outside for now, and then inside when allowed).
Also, Adam Treadway is funding his Eagle Project with a GoFundMe fundraiser. Go to https://gofund.me/fb697654 if you would like to support Adam’s Eagle Project.
For any scout not attending the CRK High Adventure camping trip this weekend, Sriman Katragadda is having his 2nd Eagle Project workday this Saturday, March 20 from 10-3 (lunch provided). Sriman’s project is working on the frisbee golf course at Sunrise United Methodist Church (1111 Lewisville Clemmons Rd, Lewisville NC). Bring work gloves. To sign up, email Sriman.katragadda@icloud.com or text (xx6) 403-1989.
There will be a LIVE Court of Honor tomorrow, March 15, at 7 PM. Diane Clinard, our new Records and Advancement Chair, has been very hard at work this past week to compile and verify, as best she could, all turned in merit badge and advancement records. We will be acknowledging the achievements of all scouts whose work can be verified at this time. Please join us LIVE at MTUMC (parking lot) for our March Court of Honor at 7 PM. Dress warmly! (But at least we will have more daylight!)
