The raven trip that was planned for this weekend has unfortunately been cancelled because of inclement weather. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Austin Cassidy’s Eagle scout Ceremony will be taking place this Sunday, February 24th at 2:30 PM at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. All scouts are invited to attend as we honor Austin for his hard work on getting to his Eagle.

It is with great sadness that I share the news of Troop 934 Eagle Scout Cameron Roletter’s passing. His memorial service will be held this Saturday at noon in Salem Funeral located at 2951 Reynolda Road for those who wish to attend. Please keep Cameron’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

This Sunday 2/3, is Scout Sunday. It is our opportunity to show MTUMC that we appreciate their sponsorship. Unless, you have discussed your reason for not attending with Aidan Alexander, you are expected to attend in Class A uniform (no sash needed). The service will be in the Alspaugh Worship Center which is where we hold our Courts of Honor. Please meet in the lobby by 10:15. Those not having food duty will be dismissed after the service ends at noon.

It is also Scouting For Food Turn-in Sunday. PLEASE BRING A MINIMUM OF 5 ITEMS OF CANNED GOODS OR DRY GOODS FOR THE FOOD PANTRY. The following scouts have volunteered for various activities. Most should report at 10am except for the ones manning the food trailer from 8:30.

No meeting tonight but if you’re able, please swing by quarter master room at 3 pm for a few minutes to unload trailer. You should especially strive to be there if you are a troop or patrol quarter master.

We’re going to have a great weekend. Please be on time. we depart at 5:30. Wear class A and bring bag supper. Make sure to have a class B and a raincoat for Saturday. It appears we may dodge the showers during our events. Please bring a BANDANA.
