All Patrol leaders and quarter masters should report to the scout room at 7pm Thursday, January 17 at 7pm for a brief packing party to prepare for Klondike. If a patrol leader cannot attend, then he will appoint someone in his patrol (who is not a quartermaster) to stand in
Everyone not otherwise obligated should be planning on attending Klondike Derby, January 18-20. This event is a very fun competition and the troop needs to bring home some wins! We are also having an Iron Chef style troop cook-off on Saturday evening. There is even a hint of snow in the forecast so this Klondike could be one of our best trips ever! Tonight is the night for signups!! We have to register with the district this week.
Also, we will be having sign ups for our February ski trip, 2/15-16 and need to know who will be attending that event.
If you are planning on attending Klondike and cannot come tonight, please notify Ms Settlemire at ssettlemire@triad.rr.com to confirm your planned attendance.
On behalf of the Troop 934 Leadership, I wanted to send you all a note to say thank you for an amazing 2018. We hope you have safe New Years celebration however you choose to spend it. We look forward to seeing you and your scouts in a few weeks!

There are various activities that the boys can participate in during the Lock-in. There will be games in the gym, board games and video gaming. We know that all the boys like different things. Yes, the boys can bring in video games, consoles & systems or board games, but please contact Kendall Frederick at the number above to coordinate what your scout wants to bring and label everything so it can be returned. The boys usually have pizza delivered later in the night. ALL GAMES WILL BE APPROVED BY ADULT STAFF PRIOR TO USE.
Sleepover packing list- toiletry items, a sleeping bag, pillow, PJs, flashlight and a change of clothes. They will be in the heated church so they do not need cold weather camping supplies.
